DL's are notoriously unreliable, especially ones created in this way because
you will receive no warning if you enter an invalid address. You can examine
each entry and make sure the address is both valid and resolved.
Here is the way to use Categories in lieu of DL's:

Yes, all my other messages are sent correctly. What should I do to
correct
this? I noticed in a lot of the other discussions you suggest categories
instead of DL. Where exactly to I specific the category? I did not add
the
email addresses to my contact list, b/c I didn't have names associated
with
them. I just added the email addresses to the DL by clicking add new
member.
I don't want these in my contact list.

Most likely that you have a corrupt address in the DL.
Are all your other messages sent correctly?

Hi,
I am a new user of Outlook 2000. I have set up a distribution list but
when
I tried to send an email, I get a System Administrator message that
says
No
transport provider was available for delivery to this recipient. What
does
that mean?
Thanks--
