Default "Reminder will not appear in multiple calendars"

Alternatively, as a reminder solution you may try Cute Reminder. It
will show you unobtrusive pop-up reminders, which are incredibly easy
to set up, delete, and postpone. You can also post sticky notes on your
screen. The Enterprise edition supports messaging and task management
over your local network.

I have Outlook 2003 in Windows XP.
I have my main calendar that I share on the network. I created a second
calendar for my personal reminders/appointments. When I try to add a
reminder to the second calendar, it give me a message: "The reminder XXX
will not appear because the item is not in your Calendar or Tasks folder. Is
this OK?
The view on my screen has a header of My Calendars and it appear there with
my main calendar. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Clara
