Default How do I restore my Outlook from an archive.pst file?

The pst file is located on the HDD and the read only flag is off. I didn't
use import, I used Open and the same error still appeared. I ran the
scanpst.exe and it said file was repaired, but there lik 97% of the data
missing from the file. None of my contacts or calendar data was retrieved.
What can I do?

Do not use Import, use Open, if there are still errors, and the repair tool,
scanpst.exe, cannot help then likely the origonal copy process failed

I've had to redo my HDD, therefore Win XP and Office 2003 have been
re-installed from scratch. I have an archive.pst file and I've tried

going
to FileImport and Export and importing the file and I've also tried
FileOpenOutlook Data File and select the "archive.pst" and I get an

error
that the file is not a personal folders file. Can anyone offer any

solution?
