As I said, the Count property of the folder's MAPIFolder object will return the total number of items in that folder.

Sorry, I've been in the 2007 trenches lately. In earlier versions, the
object is MAPIFolder, not FOlder.
To get a non-default folder, you need to walk the folder hierarchy using the
Folders collections or use a function that does that for you. See
