Default Make MS Outlook able to run in backround like MS Messenger doe

"So, select the option to minimize it to the system tray."

And just how does one do that?

I think it would be a lot more useful if Outlook could run in the
backround like messenger does that was it is not taking up space one
the task bar.

So, select the option to minimize it to the system tray.

Frankly, this is a nonsensical request, since I can't see what difference it
makes whether the handle for Outlook is on the taskbar or in the system
tray. You still need a handle and operationally it's identical. Your PC's
resources are equally used wherever the handle is. Its position is merely
"window dressing".
