Default Recover Email and Address Book From old hard drive

Thank you Frank, I agree that this forum format is rather difficult to
handle, and I never liked the web emails anyway. One thing I'm going to do
is delete my signature as there's no room. )

I could do it on my OE though I don't like overburdening my email with so
many additional messages. I ask myself, why I couldn't enter to post here???

Anyway, I'm copying your information too and will try doing it from my OE.
Thanks again. Adela

Please forgive intrusion but I haven't been able to get the "New thread"
and
the "Question" buttons to open so I could post. Been trying for the last
hour. So sorry again. Someone tell me what's wrong? Thanks.

All I can suggest is that you not use that clunky Web interface. Use
Outlook Express.

In Outlook Express go to Tools | Accounts | Add (or New) | News.
Set up an account for this news server:

msnews.microsoft.com

The server is free and does not require you to logon. This news server
carries over 2200 newsgroups related to Microsoft products and keeps
messages at least 30 days.
