Thank you Bruce, I did restart it and went to bed, then I couldn't sleep
thinking of my tech problem, so here I am, trying to tackle the problem of
trying to post here, and then posting the problem... ) You really think
that one of my identities is damaged? Even though Im not using them since
I'm only posting here? anyway, I'll copy your suggestions and will try
doing
that. Thanks again. Adela

Have you restarted your machine since this started? If not, do so and
try.
Other than that, you may have a damaged identity especially if it is the
default Main Identity. File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new
one
and test it. If all is well, you can import your messages and Address
Book
from the old identity and delete it.

Please forgive intrusion but I haven't been able to get the "New
thread"
and
the "Question" buttons to open so I could post. Been trying for the
last
hour. So sorry again. Someone tell me what's wrong? Thanks.

Search the old hard drive for all files that end with a WAB extension.
Double click each one until you find the contacts you wish and use
that
one
to import from into Outlook Express, using OE menu File/Import/Adress
Book.
