Delete blank Contacts when Outlook lockedup
So what does the Inbox Repair Tool tell you when you run it?
Have you tired creating a new profile?

985 MB now it was at 850 MB before the import. I can open Outlook but not
click on anything. The cpu usage bounces back and forth from 90 to 100 %
when Outlook is open but the task manager says it isn't responding.

When you say this has now "frozen" Outlook, what do you mean?
What is the size of this PST file now?

Tried to import 90 contacts from Excel and didn't highlight just the
ones
I
needed but clicked on the column to name them. Ended up with over
300,000
blank contacts which has now frozen Outlook. Of course I didn't back
it
up
before importing because that would have been too easy. Been running
scanpst.exe to try and clean it up. So far not helping. Does anyone
know
a
way to delete these with out having to be in Outlook? If at all
possible
I
would like to not lose all the info in the pst file. But I am
realistic
about my position.
