Earthlink software is being used and it includes OE as the email client.

Change the default email program to just Outlook Express. First try in START
| All Programs | Set Program Access and Defaults.

Click on Custom srrow to expand it then change the default to just Outlook
Express. Earthlink may show there as well.

In OE I can now read messages ok, but an unexpected error throws me off
when I attempt to open attachments. The error message is:

"Unable to locate any profiles on this computer. You must create or
retrieve a profile before running Earthlink Total Access Mail"

Can anyone out there give me some insight on what this is about? I'm
not using Earthlink, nor have I ever used it.
