Default Oversized PST File

Greetings Colin

Eventually, the file will have to be split up.

Start by Archiving data older than 1/1/2006 into an archive.pst. (File
Archive...)

Or, for much more temporary relief, compress the PST file. (File
Data File Management Personal Folders Settings Compact Now)

You might end up running other repair tools later, also.

good luck!
Eric

Hi guys,

I've got a client who never deletes his emails and his .pst file is now 1.92
GB. I assume this is the reason he can now no longer do anything with
Outlook (he's using 2002) - he can't open/delete/send/receive etc. Anyone
know a way I can fix this or recover the data ? Many thanks.

Regards Colin.
