I have been using my notebook computer running Windows XP Home Edition for
over 3 years. I never had a problem receiving Hotmail email messages, but
recently there is a dialog box with 2 tabbed pages showing on the screen.
The second page which was initially popped up on the screen did not show
any error message (i.e. blank) and the first tabbed page showed that I
failed to receive messages from Hotmail while I was successful in receiving
email messages for my other three accounts.
However, new messages still appeared on the Hotmail Inbox (of my OE6). I
have no idea what the problem is, but meanwhile I can still log on to
www.hotmail.com and read all my messages. Perhaps you can do the same for
the time being.
Best regards
