Default Query

This new wrinkle when using FAST is a topic for WinXP General newsgroup, not
OE6 newsgroup. When you post, state how the 2 machines are connected.

Thank you . I read ALL the details in the suggested webpage and carried
out
the step by step procedure.
But I get the following ERROR msg:
" The wizard cannot locate your new computer. Make sure the new computer
is
turned on and that your network is working properly.”

The two computers are ON and I can see them in the "View Workgroup
Computers".
What is wrong and what can be done ?

To transfer the data, you will need to back it up on Machine 1 and then
restore it on Machine 2.

This is too confusing ! In anycase, I NEED to transfer , not back-up &
restore !
Can I use Files & settings transfer Wizard as both computers have Win XP
???

I have a Compaq desktop with Win XP. I have now got a Acer notebook
with
Win XP.
What is the best way to transfer ALL the Emails folder from the
desktop
to the notebook as I will be travelling overseas shortly?

Thanking you
