Default recover removable disk partial

When you write "partial" do you mean "partition"?

If Disk Management says the partition is unformatted then nothing from
that partition is recoverable by normal means. You could try your luck
with a professional data recovery company, but it will cost you hundreds
if not thousands of dollars.

But something doesn't make sense...if the partition is unformatted, how
are you able to see a folder? Is the folder in a second partition?

My removable disk has one partial that has been distroyed, and it is
displayed as a local disk and unformatted. And one folder on the removable
disk has been distroyed too and can't open. How to recover or repair them?
