Hi Mark,
if you click on "Mail", go to "Datafiles", here you could add a PST file.
If this wouldn´t help, to create a complete new Outlook profile could solve
the problem.
How to create a new Outlook 2003 profile:

I have just updated to Outlook 2003 and am getting an error : Unable to
open
your default e-mail folders. Outlook could not start because a data file
to
send and recieve mail could not be found. To add a data file, such as a
personal folder file, double click the Mail icon in Windows control panel.
"
I click OK and it closes Outlook. When I go to Mail in control panel it
won't
give me any options to put the file in!
