I'd never heard of that app; neat. Not sure how good it'll do with HP's
"customizations" though it may well still be useful.
First I'd go to Control Panel's Add/Remove and identify as many of the HP
utilities as possible there and uninstall them from there in order to be
sure you get full uninstalls. Most of their "crap" will show up there and
can be removed from there.
You might also try an HP forum; those guys are likely to know just what
to remove and what not to. Since it's an HP computer, it's not just a case
of getting rid of "everything HP" g.
Before you do ANY of this, FIRST do a COMPLETE BACKUP of your C: boot drive!
Things can and do go wrong. Be sure to use a backup utility that can back
up files that are in use. If you don't have one, the ntbackup.exe or
backup.exe will work well for backing up the drive and both have Shadow
Copy, which is what lets you back up files that are in use.
At the least, back up any of your own data you may have on C:.
