Default Outlook does not recognize name, '=smtp:[email protected]'

There is no information here that would permit an answer.
State the mail account type you are using.
State how you restored your Outlook data.
State why you had to replace individual DLL's instead of using Detect and
Repair. The odds against a successful repair that way are slim at best.
State how you are selecting your recipients when you send messages.

I am rebuilding from a crash which mostly affected Outlook 2003. I
have replaced some .dll's involving MAPI, and almost have it working
'normally', except when I try to send messages. If I send to someone
in my address book that Outlook recognizes, it adds '=smtp: to the
address '), and it sits in the outbox. If I
re-open the outbox message and delete the '=smtp: (and the trailing ' )
in the address, then it replys 'Outlook does not recognize one or more
names'. Same thing happens if I enter a valid address that isn't
already in my address book. If I retype the name so that Outlook
recognises the name, then it appends the '=smtp: back onto the front of
the address, and it continues to sit.
