Default Lost AddrBook when upgrading to IE7 and Office 2003

You might want to see if Outlook has the missing contacts and if so, you can
export them as a CSV file and import that CSV file into the Windows Address
Book.

Try this and see if it fixes it:

Go to Start | Run and type the following:

"C:\PROGRAM FILES\OUTLOOK EXPRESS\MSIMN.EXE" /reg
(Check the path to msimn.exe to make sure that is correct)

Make certain to include the quotations marks and the space between the
ending quotation mark and the slash.

Then open Internet Explorer and go to Tools\Internet Options\Programs and
set OE as the default mail (and news) program.

This may have been caused by the changes to Outlook, which insists that
it
should be the default mail program. Good luck.

Thanks -- it did work, although all the additions to the address
table since sometime in 2004 have been lost for some reason.

Shrug. Sh*t happens.
