I am still waiting for a response from my 11-11 thread error message
on

I am still waiting for a response from you to my post in the same thread
from 9 November.

Try turning Trend off altogether.
Uninstalling and reinstalling OE should not affect your contacts, but to
be
safe you can export them as a Text (Comma Separated Values) file.

What is your Windows version?
What are the versions of
inetcomm.dll
msoe.dll
and
directdb.dll ?
/quote

Did you install IE7?
Is it a free Hotmail account or a paid one?

Trend was turned off and isolated. Not the cause.I am running WinXP.I did
install IE7...error message began prior.Hotmail account is paid...Hotmail
Plus.Can I export OE contacts and e-mails to another e-mail program (i.e.
Thunderbird or Pegasus) before attempting un/reinstall of OE? How do I
determine .dll file versions?

What service pack level of WinXP?
In OE go to Help | About and it will tell the version numbers of those
files.
