If you have OL 97 as well as an installation of Office XP, you corrupted your
MS Office folder and must uninstall both and reinstall just Office XP with
Outlook XP. Your pst file will be able to open using File, Open on the
Outlook menu. BTW, OL 97 was a terribly buggy program and you should upgrade.
