Before leaving a previous company I worked for, I exported my contacts to
a
.csv file and saved them. I was using Outlook 2000. When I accessed my
Address Book, the names were listed in Last Name First Name format, and
typing the first 2 or 3 letters of the Last Name took me to the name I
wanted.
At my new job, I imported the .csv file into Outlook 2002, and there
didn't
appear to be any difference in how the names were displayed or formatted.
But
any new contacts that I have added show up in my Address Book in First
Name
Last Name format and I have to type "Bob", which takes me to more than 30
Bobs. The previous contacts are still in Last Name First Name format, so
now
I have to remember whether the e-mail recipient is a new contact or an old
contact.
I have gone to Tools/Options/Contact Options and have set the Default
"Full
Name" order as First (Middle) Last and the Default "File As" order with
Last,
First (Company), but that hasn't changed the way new contacts appear in
the
Address Book.
How do I get the Last Name First Name format restored to new Address Book
entries?
TIA
David
