Default My Office Assistant Stopped Displaying Reminders.

Hi,
After installing Office 2003 and when I set up an alert reminder on my
calendar in Outlook, my animated office assistant stopped displaying
reminders. Instead, a gray dialog box does the reminding. How do I change
that so my office
assistant can display reminders in its bubble again? I've made sure that the
Display Alerts have been checked in the Options menu, but it still doesn't
alert me with reminders.
