Default Outlook Express on Two Computers

SandyD wrote:
I have recently purchased a laptop and need help with using Outlook
Express on the desktop as well as the laptop.

Is there a way to see the same downloaded messages on both computers?
I have OE setup on the laptop, using the same address as on the
desktop. When I read my messages on the laptop, then go to the desktop,
the
same messages are not available.

Please give suggestions as what to do and how to do it or if its even
possible at all!!

Thanks so much..........
Sandy

In Outlook Express's Tools, Accounts, you can set OE to leave the messages
on the server, delete them, or delete them after a certain number of days.
You appear to have yours set to delete the messages and thus they aren't
available any longer to the other computer when you try to read them.

I have my laptop set up to not delete messages from the server, ever. Then,
my desktop deletes messages after 7 days. So, a little balancing act like
that usually makes things work out pretty well.

If you need more specifics, just come back and ask.
