Default Outlook 2003 Crashing on Send when working Offline

Hello,

I have one user who is having problems when working in Outlook 2003
while out of the office. Everything works fine when he is in the
office, but while travelling, Outlook 2003 often crashes when he clicks
the "Send" button after typing a message. This should place the
message in the "Outbox" until connected to the Exchange server again.

Under the Send/Receive Groups there is a section titled "When Outlook
is Offline" beneath this heading I have unchecked the option that says
"Include this group in send/receive" in an attempt to not have Outlook
attempt to send while offline.

When Outlook crashes, it references an error with WINWORD even if Word
is not the default email editor.

Any advice? Over the course of the last few months I have Repair
Office 2003 Professional, Reinstalled Office 2003 Professional, and
deployed a new laptop to this user, with no luck at any point.

We are running Exchange 2003 SP2

Thanks,
Alex
