I downloaded a trial version of Office 2003. Then I got Office Pro XP and
installed over it without uninstalling the original. I tried a patch from
Microsoft website thinking that would help. I made it worse. Now I can't
uninstall 2003 or XP. I get 2 messages "Cannot start Microsoft Office
Outlook MAPI32.DLL is corrupt or the wrong version" and "The patch package
could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you
can
access it, or contact the application vendor. Do I need professional help?
My notebook did not come with a full recovery disk.
