I have purchased and installed Microsoft's Lifecam VX-3000 for the use of
Yahoo Messenger and Video Messaging. I have down loaded V-Mail.Exe Add-in
from Microsoft's Office Download Site and the Add-in does not appear in
Outlook Express 2003’s Add-ins. I have read the directions and followed each
step for installation. After installation and restarting my machine, a Video
Message and Reply with Video Tab appeared under my Formatting Toolbar. When I
click on the Video Message, I create the video and then stop recording it. I
then have the option to save the video in My Documents or just send the Video
Message. When the Video Message is executed, the contact is then directed to
Microsoft’s Office Download Add-in Web Site requesting that the V-Mail.Exe
must be downloaded and installed to view the Video Message. After my contacts
install V-Mail.Exe, the Add-in does not open the Video Message and is AGAIN,
redirected to Microsoft’s Office Web Site to repeat the process. The
V-Mail.Exe is listed in the Add and Remove Programs but not in Outlook
Express 2003 Add-ins options. The Microsoft Office Help Button does not give
enough information to resolve this issue. Have I not followed the
installations steps correctly?
