(The ISP News Server fails now and then).

I have a problem downloading one of the news groups through Motzarella,
each time I try, OE stops with "not responding".

Synchronising - headers only (with and without get 300 messages set)
Not synchronising and "download with preview pane"
Subscribing and unsubscribing the offending NG and closing/opening OE
(and rebooting)

Latest attempts managed to download some headers, but then the "not
responding" feature kicked in again.


Just as a test, create a new Identity, set up the news account and
subscribe to only that one newsgroup and see how it behaves. If it's okay,
go back to the other Identity. delete that newsgroup then close OE and
restart it, then subscribe back to it and see how that works.


What's next, a chicken sacrifice at midnight ? :-)

Looks like the beads/cigar/priest is next,
Tried a new identity with similar results, OE locked up with 3699 headers
downloaded out of 23623.
Can't find the "error report" (found 4 others though).
