Keep in touch. Try to find out what happens when she tries to use OE. Does
it open at all? Any error messages if she tries to send or receive? Many
possible answers, if we have the right questions.
Good Luck.

Share why is it not working? How did she try to reinstall OE? It is a
part of IE6 and IE6 is an integral part of XP.
The directions I gave are the only ones I know outside of a complete
reinstall of XP that includes IE6/OE6.

Bruce, Share reason for what? All I know is her OE6 quit working & she
tried to re-install it. I though XP had a Registry Repair option??

Thanks, Bill

A reinstall seldom fixes problems, if you care to share the reason,
maybe it can be avoided.
How to Reinstall or Repair IE6 and OE6:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=318378
Although written for WinXP, it works for all Windows operating systems
98 or newer.
If you are using WinXP/SP2, and it was not already on your computer
from the factory, you will have to remove SP2 first.

I've a friend trying to re-install OE6 but is getting below message.
She has Windows XP, don't it have Registry Repair built in?
"Tried to install Outlook Express it said I would have to purchase a
registry repair for there were too many problems."
