Outlook 2003 freezes, or at least stops processing, when retrieving email
that is suspected as spam.
My work around is eother to disconnect from the internet, take the permanent
delete option off, then reconnect. I then have to manually delete the junk
OR
Close outlook, use webmail to delete the offending emails through Internet
Explorer, then restart Outlook. I still have to manually delete the junk.
