Go to control panel-mail icon-profiles-add. Add a new profile and configure it to use your current .pst file. If you have any problems, post back with the particulars.

After furious head scratching, asked:

| the .pst file and it found errors, but this did not help. I tried
| running Detect and Repair several times, but each time I do, all it
| seems to do is install this feature, which takes several minutes. I am
| unable to get it to do anything else. That hasn't helped either. Can
| you explain what you mean by "try a new mail profile." I'm not sure
| what that is.

||| Outlook 2003 will only stay open for about half a second if I am not
||| typing. The program terminates as soon as I open it unless I start
||| typing immediately. The moment I stop typing, it terminates. It has
||| worked fine on my computer for years and started doing this
||| yesterday. I have installed no new hardware or software, although
||| Norton AV may have updated. I have tried disabling NAV, as well as
||| rebooting. Nothing stops this problem. Anyone have any ideas how I
