Default Black theme dumps ribbon-can't get it back in Out2007?

do you mean the 'skin' or one of windows color schemes?

"skins" are changed in Word's Office button, Word options button (bottom of
dialog) - Popular - Color scheme.

color schemes are controlled by windows.

I use Office2007 on a newish Toshiba tablet. I clicked a different theme
named "black" because I have wanted black text in my messages on-screen.
It
seems to have dumped the ribbon bar and the QAT for the older menu
interface.
I did not "minimize" the ribbon: the tabs do not show.

Searching throughout menus and the help file turns up NO reference to
going
back to the default 2007 look and feel. (I still want to figure out how to
require black text but I will put that off until I get the default
interface
back.

I am using the trial code (RTM). Other Office component programs show the
ribbon.
