restoring outlook data with no pst file
Saving your Outlook data is as simply as saving your .pst file, which does not live in either of the locations you mention having saved. You don't need to open Outlook - simply locate the file (with Outlook closed of course) and copy it to a second hard drive, network drive, thumb drive, CD, etc.
