In Tools | Options | Compose, are your choices as you want them there?

In Stationery, Blank is not selected either?

You may have a damaged identity especially if it is the default Main
Identity. File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new one and test it.
If all is well, you can import your messages and Address Book from the old
identity and delete it.

the Stationery section.

I don't remember if this started happening before or after I upgraded to
IE 7, but I cannot change the font size in OE messages I compose. It
defaults to 12 and cannot be changed. I can change the font from Arial
to any other style, but not matter what font style I use I cannot change
the size.

Does anyone know what the problem is and how I can fix it?
