After you open a window that is not full screen, *close all other windows*.
Now, grab the corners of the window and drag it to full screen size. Close
the window using File | Close, or File | Exit depending what program you're
in. Windows will remember the last screen size used the next time you open
the program.
If they open minimized to the toolbar:
Right click on the minimized message on the Taskbar and select Move. Now use
the arrow keys to get it in the screen. Close all other windows except this
one and use the cursor to drag the message to full screen size. File | Exit,
and Windows will remember the size when you open it again.

I'm new to OE6 and I'm having trouble getting windows to open maximized so
they are more easily read. The address book, for example, is so small
that I
can't read the data without repeatedly scrolling. Other windows open
minimized with no place to click them up or drag them to a larger size.
Internet Explorer seems to have the same window sizing problems. I never
had
these issues with Netscape, and I can't find the solution by myself. Is
there anything I can do?
Also, the spell checker in OE does not work and repeatedly gives me an
error
message, even though I have Office 97 loaded and working on my computer.
I'm running XP Home OS.
Thanks for any help anyone may provide.
