Default Shared Vacation calendar in organization

Hello, we'd like to be able to have a shared calendar where we can keep track
of our employee's vacation schedules in one area. What is the best way to do
this? Do I just created a new user in Exchange and give everyone "Author"
permissions to add their own but not be able to change anyone else's or is
there a better way?
