names without email address in address line
I am running Outlook (i.e., NOT Outlook Express) that is part of Microsoft
Office 2003 operating under Windows XP Home on a Dell computer.
I receive emails with just the sender's name in the address and / or CC
lines (e.g., 'John Smith'). When I click 'Reply' or 'Reply All,' Outlook
not only puts the person's name in the address line, but also their email
address (e.g., 'John Smith '). This clutters the address
line and, for me, makes it harder to make sure check to see to whom the email
is being sent.
I once was told how to change the default so Outlook would just put the
names in the address line. Unfortunately, I suffered a hard drive failure,
had to reinstall Microsoft Office on a new Hard drive, and I cannot remember
how to program Outlook to put just the person's name in the address line
(e.g., 'John Smith') and not the name and email address (e.g., 'John Smith
'). Can anyone help me ?
