Default How do I prove I sent this email

But even more of a problem and increasingly in this day and age is the
number of folks threatening to complain or sue.
Most don't but I have some that do. Never lost a case but spending more on
lawyers bills in recent years.

You also need to have some sort of written/policy agreement in place that
witholds you from any liability in the event emails are not received,
because of so many variables of the internet.

|I have tried on similar messages where it doesn't work but thank
goodness,
| on the one in question, it does and the evidence is there. In the old
days
| blame the postman for losing the mail and these days it is too easy for
| folks to say never received the email.
|
| Thanks for making me persevere.

| try the same process on a several different messages.
|
| its usually always works for me.
| but I usually do it the hard way.
| right click on a message header . select Properties, Details and then
click
| on Message Source. in fact at the DETAILS step they should show.

| I run a small business and need to email customers with the 'latest
news'
| type of information. To protect customers confidentiality I send to
myself
| and all the customers as blind copies. I have a situation arisen
whereby
| one of the customers intends suing me as they say they never had a
| particularly important email some months ago.
|
| They are in the right folder (about 100 email addresses), in my
address
| book and to all I sent the same email. However when I look at the
email
I
| can see no way of seeing who I sent it to unless there is a way?
|
| Please help as my ability to prove is likely to save a claim against
me
| for £3,000.

| Select the message in Sent items and press the Ctrl key + F3, you
should
| now see the bcc recipients.
|
| You can copy that.

| Hi Steve
|
| Thanks for getting back to me.
| Tried your suggestion and opened 'message source' details but definitely
no
| list of email addresses. Any other thoughts?
