Default Input Mask

Hi Ken-

Any chance there is a way to copy that code from Outlook and use it in
Access?

It's not like a mask in a rich edit textbox, it's really code that looks
at the local dialing properties and formats the numbers based on that and
the entered country code. You would have to write extensive code to do the
same formatting.

Hi-

I would like use the exact same input mask that comes default in the
Outlook contacts form for phone numbers. Any idea how to create or copy
this input mask - I would like to use it for an Access form field?

The Outlook mask is the only I have seen where I can cut and paste phone
numbers into it and it correctly formats for a phone number. All of the
different masks I have creat in Access do not handle cut and paste well.
Even the standard phone number mask that the wizard creates in Access
does not handle cut and paste well.

Thanks in advance for your help.
