Default How can I share contact details with people not on the same networ

We have a small networking group (30 people) and would like to share each
others' contact details, but we're not on the same server or system. So I
saved everyone's details in Windows Address Book as a separate set of
contacts, saved this as a windows address book file and emailed it round.
No-one seems to be able to open it properly, and I can't use any of the email
addresses to send emails either.

Have I used the wrong tool, and is there any other way of emailing a
contacts list (not just email addresses but other details too) so they're
easily usable by not very technical people (I don't really want them to have
to import csv files if we can avoid it).

Thanks

Dave
