Default Out of office assitant

If you check the Preferences from Comcast.net you will see an option for auto-reply. This would be the closest you can come to Out of Office Assistant without Exchange.

After furious head scratching, Dave in Franklin, TN asked:

| Thanks for the reply. I will investigate the "vacation" avenue. Do
| you have any experience with Comcast and their capabilities?

|| You can but the cost-benefit would be WAY out. You may find that
|| your ISP has a "vacation" message service on its webmail server.....
|| Otherwise you can set up a rule to replicate this. But, be aware
|| that doing this would entail your PC being on 27/7 and Outlook up
|| and running 24/7......
