Default using contacts to send e-mail

Hi Shelley,

your Outlook version is?

If you use Outlook 2003 have a look in the Outlook menu, select "Goto" an
select "Folderlist".

Normaly you get now all folders of Outlook incl. the "Contact" folder.

When I'm in a New Message and I click on the "To..." tab to enter a

contact's
e-mail address a message pops up that says: "The address list could not be
displayed. The Contacts folder associated with this address list could not

be
opened; it may have been moved or deleted, or you do not have

permissisions."

I've been reading the other strains from people that have also encountered
this problem. I went to the support page you sent to someone else and

tried
following the directions.

Under How to Install the Outlook Address Book Service, my Outlook Address
Book was listed, great, I hit "cancel" and moved to the next section.

Under How to Mark Your Contact Folder for Use with Your Address Book, I

got
stuck. #1 says to select the folder you want to use with the address

book.
I suspect you are supposed to choose "contacts". However, I do not have a
"contacts" file listed in my folder list. To get to my contacts, I click

on
the contacts tab in the lower left corner (listed with mail, calendar and
tasks).

Can I continue this process without having a "contacts" file in my folder
list to select?

Thanks
