Default created from Sharepoint contact list

Is there any way to create new columns in a Sharepoint contact list that
correspond with any of the other fields used in Outlook. e.g. User Field 1,
User Field 2 etc. or does Sharepoint just generate generic fields normally
used? I'm using Office 2003.
