Sorry I forgot to mention I have recently installed IE7 and from what I can
gather this is causing the problem.
After reading the thread here "Outlook Stopped Working after Internet 7
Update",
the possible fix Kbid=904942 exe is not a valid win32 application as I tried
it OE6 also comes up with this..................

Unable to poll for new messages on your HTTP server. Account: 'Hotmail',
Server: 'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp', Protocol:
HTTPMail, Server Response: 'Invalid login.', Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Socket
Error: 122, Error Number: 0x800CCC32
Is there a fix for this as this is the second post with IE7 linked to the
problem.
