Starting with a single printer, Kite is an expert in all printer
brands, supplies, and now software.

Amazing!

Your lack of intelligence is what is amazing. As a matter of fact I do
happen to be an expert in Software that runs under the Windows OS. How
does the crow taste?

I do not have to be aware of this bug. I use good software. IE7 is not
what I use.

Several weeks ago, I discovered that IE 7 was automatically downloaded- so I
installed it. Then I started having problems- I couldn't run HP's Director
program for printers, scanners and all in one units. Because I'm always
making changes to my computer, I didn't connect the dots back to the IE 7
installation.

As I tried to fix Director, my computer became ever more unstable until I
had to reformat and reinstall everything, which made me rather unhappy-
especially not knowing what caused the problem.

So, I was happy to read in the Feb. issue of PC World that this is a known
problem- IE7 causes the Director program to fail. On page 47, it does give
an URL to a fix.

So, beware of this bug, unless you like formatting and reinstalling
everything!

Joe
