Default Some IMAP E-Mails not being displayed in Outlook

Hello.

I am using Outlook 2007 in an Exchange environment. In my profile, I
have an Exchange mailbox, as well as an IMAP mailbox of an alternate
e-mail address.

I have Outlook set to download full items for every folder of the IMAP
account on Send/Receive.

Every so often, there is no pattern, I will see that my IMAP Inbox has
(1) next to it, indicating a new message. However, when I select the
mailbox, no new messages are displayed. The (1) clears and it is like
Outlook doesn't know that the new message exists.

When I view the IMAP mailbox through it's web access, the new message
appears, unread. I can view it, and there are no strange contents like
images that might cause Outlook to block the message. I can see no
pattern to the messages that do not appear in Outlook. The message that
does not appear in 2007 will appear in Outlook 2003 however.

Any ideas would be very appreciated. IT is really just an annoyance,
but I am wondering if others have noticed this.
