Default Trouble Finding OE Data Files

Did you do a Repair Install or a format & reinstall?

Tools Options Maintenance Store folder will reveal the location of
your current Identity's store
(http://www.insideoe.com/files/store.htm#storemain). Write it down.

In WinXP, the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden.
To view these files in Explorer, you must enable Show Hidden Files and
Folders under Start Control Panel Folder Options View.

In Windows Explorer, search for .DBX files. Any found which are not located
in your current store will most likely be those from your OE5 Identity. You
can Import them using FileImportMessages....

I have had to reload XP Pro to alleviate significant boot problems.

I have lost the accounts previously set up on the machine. Two of those
accounts had active OE setups.

Did I lose my OE data files on the OS reload?

Where can I find the data files? ... yes - I will start backing them up!
