Restart your computer and compact again. Then you get the prompt, grab the
blue banner at the top of it and move it out of the way. You fill be able to
tell which folder it is stuck on.

that way I know no folder is being used and proceed to compact the folders
but in the middle of the operation I get a dialogue that says "this
folder is being used" Ok. I don't know which folder it was as I was away
from my computer but how could this be if I'm off line and none of the
