Default Opening links in e-mails

Nothing more than the three solutions I posted. None of the suggested
solutions help any more? Did you uncheck use DDE?

Did you also check this article? I only added it recently.

I have the same problem. I have checked everything you recommended and it
still doesn't work. I remember about a month or so ago I followed your
instructions and it worked, only temporarly though. Anything else you can
recommend?

Browser: IE /must/ be chosen here if you're running IE7 and want such
links
to work.

If still no joy:

From:
http://www.fjsmjs.com/OE/nolinks.htm

If nothing happens when you click a link:
Open Windows Explorer, or the Control Panel.
Go to Tools | Folder Options | File Types.
Scroll down to [NONE] URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol (NOT
URL:Internet
Shortcut) and select it.
Click Edit or Advanced, depending on your Windows version.
Select 'open'.
Click Edit.

"Application used to perform this action" should read:

"C:\PROGRAM FILES\INTERNET EXPLORER\iexplore.exe" -nohome (Check the
path
to
iexplore.exe to make sure that is correct and use the double quotes.)

DDE should be checked and in the boxes below it you should have:

#1:
"%1",,-1,0,,,,
#2
IExplore
#3 (blank)

#4
WWW_OpenURL

URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol with Privacy should be the same.

Sometimes it is necessary to uncheck Use DDE.

For some reason lately I am unable to open links found in e-mails.
I
must
save them to "my favorites" to open them. Why is this happening and
how
might I fix it? Thank you for any help. Seems to have started
happening
when I downloaded IE 7. Lynda
