| Recently I noticed that when I click an URL in OE, the port (80) is
| appended to the URL in the address bar of the browser (IE7). For

| I've had IE7 for some time now, even since Beta 1, and have only just
| noticed it. I made a quick program to open an URL via ShellExecute,
| and this doesn't happen. I've clicked links in other programs, it
| still doesn't happen. Only when clicking URLs in OE!

| This isn't a terminal failure - as the page does open as expected.
| However, it's more of a curiousity at this point.

| I've searched through these groups, MS Support and regular Google and I
| don't see anything about this. Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Big deal. That's not a problem if a http URL uses an explicit statement to use TCP port 80
rather than be implicit and leave it out.
