Default View pane - add date?

what version? If you have the header showing, you should see the date (along
with subject, from, to)- or hover the mouse over the item in the email
list - the date (and other info) displays in the popup.

When I'm viewing an email in the view pane there is no received date
shown.
Can I add this field within the view pane. The inbox does show a date
but
this column moves and the mail being previewed may be "off the screen£"
and
its a pain to keep scrolling the inbox column just to find the reived date

regards,

Beemer
