Default Jave-Sun-MS---Red X

Use the following newsgroup for questions or problems with IE6/7
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...plorer.general

You can also get to the Internet Explorer newsgroups via this web site:
http://www.microsoft.com/communities...s/default.mspx
There select Internet Explorer

If it's just the occasional site, it could well be a coincidence with
your Java update. Among other things, the red x can indicate an error
in the HTML, such as a image link to an invalid or missing image, or the
web server not responding with the image in a timely manner.

I had the last four versions of Sun java installed but had trouble at
one important site. They had me remove all but the latest and also
install MS java. This fixed that problem.
Now I get the occasional red X on some sites which I never got before
so suspect fixing one thing broke another. Running XPpro.
Any thoughts?
Thank you
Mel
